Facelift Procedure

For the majority of facelifts performed, incisions begin within the hairline, just above the temple and continue along, ending behind the ear. This allows Dr Lim access to tighten underlying tissue, removing excess fat and skin. A second incision under the chin is sometimes necessary. If skin tone is good and only mid-face aging needs to be corrected, shorter incisions may be used.

After your surgery you will notice some swelling and bruising which should subside in 2-3 weeks. Final results may be noticeable in 1-2 months. Incision lines or scars will continue to refine for the next year.
